The guys over at Wildgrounds have posted a quite thorough round-up of some of the most anticipated projects by renown and yet to be talked about directors scheduled for the coming year.
I was quite surprised and delighted to see so many big names with a release date put to their name. For one we have accomplished cinematic masters like Kim Jee-won or Park Chan-wook taking the plunge to the Western market with “The Last Stand” and “Stoker” respectively and then we have such fine artists like Pen-ek Ratanaruang or Wong Kar-Wai presenting their new smudgy coloured stories.
Not to mention of course the equally promising submissions by such quality noire craftsmen like Johnnie To, Beat Takeshi or Alan Mak.
Saying that I’m über excited would be an understatement.
